Terms of use

CVKaar lets you build resumes with a step-by-step form, see a live preview, choose a template, check a resume score and download your resume as a PDF. We may change, improve or remove features over time.

• Give us a real email address that you can access, and keep your details up to date.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away at support@cvkaar.com if you think someone else has used it.
• One person per account. Don't share your account or create accounts for others without their permission.
• If you are under 18, use CVKaar only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

You own the resumes and everything you write in CVKaar. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, for example to save it, show the preview, score it and create your PDF. We don't claim any other rights to it.

You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate and that you have the right to use it.

Please don't:

• put false, misleading or someone else's information in a resume to deceive employers;
• upload or write anything unlawful, abusive or that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or parts of the service you are not allowed to use;
• probe, overload or disrupt the service, or get around its limits;
• scrape, copy or resell the service or its templates, or use automated tools to create accounts or downloads.

• While our launch lasts, every account gets Pro at no cost: every template, unbranded PDF downloads and the full resume score. We don't ask for a card or any payment details, so nothing can be charged.
• During the launch you can have up to 10 resumes per account. Downloads are limited to 20 PDFs every 10 minutes.
• There's no fixed end date. We may end the offer at any time.
• If you joined during the launch, you keep Pro for 3 more months as a founding member. After that you can choose a paid plan or carry on with the free plan. Your resumes are never deleted: any beyond the free plan's limit become read-only, so you can still open and download them.

The pricing page always shows the offer that applies today.

The resume score and its suggestions are guidance to help you improve your resume. They are not a guarantee of interviews, job offers or how any employer's applicant tracking system will read your resume.

We work hard to keep CVKaar reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. Keep your own copy of important resumes by downloading them.

To the extent the law allows, CVKaar is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost opportunities, income or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During the free launch that amount is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

You can stop using CVKaar and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using CVKaar after a change, the updated terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
